I wrote this song for Walt Disney's film Frozen, after I first saw it. 'I Can Live' takes place during the same scene as the song 'Let it Go.'
lyrics
This ground so white, this day so pure
The Winter’s calling, wanting more
The storm rages, it’s screaming my name
But I’ve gotta move on, I’m not to blame
For too long I’ve shadowed, and hidden away
Terrified of, what other’s may say
But now I’m throwing the past behind,
A brand new start, a brand new time
Here I can live; I have a place to call mine
I can run, I can jump, I can even freeze time
I can sing, I can dance, I can climb to the top
Don’t have to hide anymore
Here I can live; I have a place to call mine
I can run, I can jump, I can even freeze time
I can sing, I can dance, I can climb to the top
Don’t have to hide anymore, I cannot be stopped
Though ice pumps through my veins, I am not afraid
I will fight this curse, I will dive head first
I may be the queen, but boy am I mean
There is no way, I’m leaving today
My old life is done
This alp is the key, my soul is now free
The cold and I are one
Here I can live; I have a place to call mine
I can run, I can jump, I can even freeze time
I can sing, I can dance, I can climb to the top
Don’t have to hide anymore
Here I can live; I have a place to call mine
I can run, I can jump, I can even freeze time
I can sing, I can dance, I can climb to the top
Don’t have to hide anymore
Here I can live; I have a place to call mine
I can run, I can jump, I can even freeze time
I can sing, I can dance, I can climb to the top
Don’t have to hide anymore
Here I can live; I have a place to call mine
I can run, I can jump, I can even freeze time
I can sing, I can dance, I can climb to the top
Don’t have to hide anymore, I cannot be stopped
I cannot be stopped
I cannot be stopped!
